Explain of Stereotyping

Stereotyping is to believe/think/say something that isn't true and can be offensive to other cultures, in other words don't judge someone by the way they look and what culture they're from.

My first example of stereotyping is ‘Only Asians work at fish and chips shops.’ I disagree.

My second example is ‘Americans only eat doughnuts.’ I disagree because some people may like doughnuts but they wouldn’t eat them all the time.

My third example is ‘Only England has double decker buses.’ I disagree because I’ve seen them in New Zealand and other countries.

Overall I believe stereotyping is believing something that some people think is true but it's not because people find it offensive.
